I’ve had my car since August 2020, and I finally hit 10k miles. That’s what Covid and working from home gets you.

Today was a travel day, and I learned what a Travel Plaza in Indiana and a Service Plaza in Ohio means. On the Indiana Toll Road and the Ohio Turnpike, you go through a tollgate and take a ticket, not paying anything at that time (as opposed to California where the toll is a one-time payment when you enter the toll road.) The payment comes when you exit said toll road; the longer you go, the more the toll. When you exit, you pay a toll based on that exit. The plazas are gas stations and restaurants that you can pull into without exiting or paying a toll, a rest area on steroids.

We are at a Wingate by Wyndham hotel that used to be a Country Inn and Suites Hotel, safe, quiet and clean, all we need for the night.
